This was a first! I've never shot an engagement session at Magic Mountain.  I haven't even been there since my senior year in high school. I'm not even going to talk about how long ago that was :)  It was so much fun!  There is so much color and texture, it was great!  Here are some of my favorites:

Such a cute little family!  You may remember them from THIS wedding.  It was SO fun to see them again!  We had a blast running all over the beach to get these fun pictures.  LOVE them!

It is always so intimidating when another photographer asks you to do their pictures!  I was SO nervous!  But the Patterson's are awesome and so it made it easy.  Mom and Dad Patterson remind me so much of my parents, such sweet people!  And the funny thing is they live in Southern Utah and my parents live in Northern Utah!  I had such a great time!

I am in LOVE with this session!!!  While I was up in Utah I was able to do a "groomal" session with this adorable couple.  I miss shooting weddings in Utah SO much!  I wish I could do it more often (hint hint wink wink - if anyone knows anyone needing a photographer in Utah, let me know).  Everything was perfect, the location, the light, the couple, perfection.  There are a ton of pictures in this post, but I just could not narrow it down.

This is one of my bestest friends in the whole wide world and her cute family.  I was able to do these family portraits while I was in Utah a couple of weeks ago. 

That day I wasn't really sure if we were going to get to do the session.  Because 20 minutes before we were supposed to start this was happening:

 

But we waited a little while and it cleared up and we were able to get some really fun pictures of a really fun family.  Here are some of my favorites:
